Who We Serve

HAPPY HAVEN serves one of the most vulnerable population of people special needs, intellectual and mental impairments disabilities and their families. We value respect, acceptance, compassion, kindness, honesty, and integrity. We focus on promoting health and wellness, and insuring the availability of accessible, quality health-related services for the special needs community. These people of all adult ages and backgrounds have a need for special services due to a special need, including but not limited to illness, cancer, accidents, birth defects, neurological conditions, premature birth, learning or physical disabilities, mental health issues, and attention deficit (hyperactivity) disorder, to name a few.  We have a strong belief that individual difference in people are a natural part of life, and that disabilities provide people with unique perspectives, insights, and abilities which contribute to the overall well-being of society.

The services we offer:

  • A stable comprehensive housing system that is family centered and supporting the health, education, and development of people with special needs where peer support is encouraged. We work hard towards creating a supportive housing system creating a safe happy haven to live and creating caring and productive individuals.
  • Full commitment to encourage full participation in community life by all people listening and learning from people with special needs and their families Supportive services to ensure a life without limits for people with a spectrum of disabilities
  • Support to make informed decisions; build partnership among peers, families and professionals, work hard to advance independence, productivity, and full citizenship of people with disabilities. Supportive environment to acquire the necessary living skills to live independently
  • Individual advocacy to address education, employment, health care, and other concerns, self-advocacy initiatives, residential support, family support, employment programs, leisure and recreational programs
  • Referrals to other organizations such as Goodwill and others that provide financial coaching, savings and loan support, tax preparation, education programs, community services, financial aid, transportation, clothing assistance, and medical rehabilitation Employment and training
  • Referrals to the highest-quality services designed to meet their individual needs
  • Empower each person to overcome obstacles to independence and reach his or her personal goals, make positive life changes, become healthier, happier, and productive and reach their potential
  • Collaborative services with medical and healthcare providers, outreach, therapeutic and recuperative centers.
  • Partnering with education centers, psychiatrist, psychologists, therapists, counselors, life coaches who provide required care
  • Transportation assistance to and from medical centers for critical issues
